SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

1. 10-Minute play submissions are due November 15, 2008
   
   
2. Each applicant may only submit ONE play (send us your best!).
   
   
3. Plays must be submitted ONLINE.
   
   
4. Submissions must be world premieres.
   (A play that has been read or workshopped is eligible for submission. A play that has been produced with any design elements or actors who were off-book is NOT eligible for submission. Please use your best judgment.)
   
   
5. Submissions must be unpublished.
   
   
6. Only 10-minute plays will be accepted.
   Eligible plays should be no longer than 10 PAGES in standard play format (click here for example). A play that is longer than 10 pages will not be accepted. Please do not shrink margins, line spacing or font.
   
   
7. Playwrights who have submitted to the Source Festival in the past are encouraged to submit again, but only with a play that has not been previously submitted. Previously submitted plays to the Source Festival may NOT be resubmitted..
   
   
8. All plays must include the title of play and name of playwright in the header or footer of EVERY PAGE.
   
   
9. All plays must have page numbers.
   
   
10. The title page must include the playwright's full name and contact info (including mailing address, phone number and email address).
    
    
11. The website can only accept one attachment per submission. Please be sure that the entire play, including the title page, is one document.
    
    
12. Plays will only be accepted in the following formats: .doc, .pdf, or .rtf. We will NOT accept .fdr documents. Plays in .fdr must be converted to a .pdf in Final Draft.
